Swatch - 007 Villains music download campaign Overview Swatch, Switzerland, the innovative watchmaker, used a KODIME solution to enable music downloads around their global marketing campaign, 007 Villains. The new watch collection celebrates James Bond's most legendary counterparts, from Emilio Largo in Thunderball to Le Chiffre in Casino Royale and more. KODIME worked with agency partner Spark-Me to enable a digital download promotion. Objectives To associate the brand and product collection with the related 007 music and images. Provide additional visibility to the 007 villains campaign. Capture new contact details for subsequent marketing. Promote the exclusive audio recordings. Details The free downloads of classic James Bond themes performed by cult band Leningrad Cowboys were provided from Swatch.com, with STARtxt providing the storefront, keeping track of target country, number of units downloaded, and the high quality digital audio being delivered reliably and speedily directly from KODIME's content servers.
Components used Digital downloads, data capture, content management, web storefront, reporting. Results 100,000 downloads were made available across swatch.com, MTV and Yahoo websites over a 3 month campaign period. A large number of new email addresses were registered for future marketing.
