Interesting nugget from StrategyEye: Total downloads to date from Apple's App Store could exceed total iTunes music downloads by the end of the year, despite the app store launching almost five years after iTunes.
In the 26 months since Apple launched its app store, users have downloaded 6.3bn apps. In contrast, the iTunes Music Store has had a little under 12bn downloads since 2003.
