Shopping via mobile is set to become more commonplace over the next year, with a significant proportion of retailers saying they plan to have mobile commerce technology up and running in the next year.
According to a survey by eDigitalResearch, 41 percent of UK retailers said they intend to have a transactional mobile site or app in place within the next 12 months.
Some 94 percent of those queried also said they see the mobile sales channel as a real opportunity for their business. More than half (59 percent) of respondents said they expect their mobile revenues to increase during that period.
